But ASW is not just a dig at the large amount of autoerotic self-expression that is enjoyed by both students and tutors in the art school institution; it has also been an avenue to explore the underlying problems within the system and look at ways it could be improved. It has been important to look at the art institution in relation to the real world and the effect it has on society as a whole.
